AYUNTAMIENTO DE CAUDETE

Ayuntamiento de Caudete is a city council of a municipality of 10.077 inhabitants in the province of Albacete. Its Youth Center offers to local younsters leisure and free time activities as well as non formal and informal learning through different events and workshops that are hold in a regular basis, namely: cultural workshops around Watercolour Painting Pintor Rafael Requena Museum; summer nights activity programme "X las Lunas" in collaboration with local Sports Department; musical theatre; "Abycine": International Cinema Festival in Albacete; Carnival; workshops on gender equality, IT, stress and anxiety; Outdoor Painting National Competition; Funny Terror Pathway; Tales Design Lab; Rabio Lab; Botanic Workshop; Yoga and Meditation Breaks at local Secondary School (IES Pintor Rafael Requena); Students Fair; Fortnite Contest; Poetry and Writing Contest; Batch Cooking Workshop; Youth Info Day and many more. Since 2016, Local Development Agency in city council develops European projects in the framework of Erasmus+, involving VET and Adult Education local institutions, having been awarded Erasmus Acreditation in these sectors in 2020. In 2017, it obtained the Acreditation as EVS sending organisation. Our broad experience in European mobility projects and partners network allow us to envisage the promotion of high-quality volunteering projects in the framework of European Solidarity Corps. ESC Quality Label will enable us to offer local youth opportunities of personal and professional development through experiences addressing societal challenges such as promotion of sustainable development and social inclusion, as well as strengthening cohesion, solidarity, democracy and European identity.
