As an independent youth organisation, the German Young Naturefriends get engaged on questions of justice, stand up for the rights of children and fight for a sustainable transformation of society. Democracy and participation are at the heart of our educational work. We take a stand for a sustainable lifestyle and a consistent climate policy. In our everyday life as well as during our camps and events, we try to avoid emissions and conserve resources. We visit schools to excite more teenagers about our mission. We are on the scene at all large international climate conferences. We fight for dismantling social and national borders, because for us solidarity is limitless. Walls do not have a future. The good life should be accessible for everyone. We represent a common Europe for social justice and liberal democracy. We strive to ensure that our contact with each other during our camps and educational events is based on these shared values. That is also what we focus on in our alliances and during demonstrations. Our umbrella organisation is called International Young Naturefriends (IYNF). The IYNF connects young people from Europe and beyond. The association was founded in 1975 and currently includes 28 member organisations. IYNF is one of the biggest youth organisations within Europe. --- Als unabhängiger Jugendverband engagiert sich die Naturfreundejugend Deutschlands für Gerechtigkeit und Kinderrechte und setzt sich für eine nachhaltige Transformation der Gesellschaft ein. Demokratie und Partizipation stehen im Mittelpunkt unserer Bildungsarbeit. Wir setzen uns für einen nachhaltigen Lebensstil und eine konsequente Klimapolitik ein. In unserem Alltag und auf unsere Veranstaltungen versuchen wir, Emissionen zu vermeiden und Ressourcen zu schonen. Wir besuchen Schulen, um mehr Jugendliche für unsere Mission zu begeistern. Wir sind bei allen großen internationalen Klimakonferenzen vor Ort. Wir kämpfen für den Abbau sozialer und nationaler Grenzen, denn für uns ist Solidarität grenzenlos. Das gute Leben sollte für alle zugänglich sein. Wir stehen für ein geeintes Europa ein, für soziale Gerechtigkeit und liberale Demokratie. Auf diesen Werten beruht auch das Miteinander auf unseren Freizeiten und Bildungsveranstaltungen. Unsere Dachorganisation heißt International Young Naturefriends (IYNF). Die IYNF verbindet junge Menschen aus Europa und darüber hinaus. Der Verein wurde 1975 gegründet und umfasst derzeit 28 Mitgliedsorganisationen. IYNF ist eine der größten Jugendorganisationen in Europa.
