The association bears the name "Großes Schiff", association for the care of children as well as for intercultural and educational engagement with art, dance, theater and music. Our program attaches great importance to the promotion and participation of people with a migration biography as well as the promotion of diversity within society. The association “Großes Schiff” exists since April 2010 and is based in Vienna in Austria, the majority of its activities have taken place in Vienna so far, the association has already carried out projects in the EU and in other parts of the world. We have the possibility to welcome our ESC Voluntaries to work in 4 different multilingual Kindergartens: La Rueda, the original one, besides a big park La Rueda 2.0, our most centrical group. La Ruda 20.2, our newest group, really close to the original one. La Rueda 22, our group in the outskirts of Vienna, close to the Danube Lake (Alte Donau). We foster in all our groups on the multlinigual education in Spanish, German and English to the children, we have open minded, international (often Latin American) parents, but your language (mother tongue) is going to be a plus to our educational program and you are going to learn German and/or Spanish with the children coming to our Kindergartens. Our Aims are: to foster on plurilinguism to create a more open society to support elementary education concepts that are providing more resources to the children/ parents participating in. Our Target Groups: children in elementary education educators youngsters doing their voluntary work / Youth Exchanges (You?) primary school children adults our regular activities within the association of Großes Schiff are: "La Rueda Kindergruppen": providing of children education in the elementary age (from 1 till 6 years old) A la Rueda Rueda: doing artistic workshops for children aged 1 till 12 years old E+ Round Trip: participating in a European Project (now in an KA2 Project on the ESK) FSJ: doing trainings for Volunteers in Austria (Freiwiiliges Soziales Jahr) Further Education: Education of educators in the field of general pedagogics Plurilinguism and Sensorial Integration Online Courses: Preparing online courses for ESC volunteers ESC- the proposal of Projects within the Solidarity Corps Scheme, also we are going to support our ESC Volunteers to submit a Voluntary Project within their time being with us, if they want to do it.
