Society "Erfolg"

The society ERFOLG was established on 18th February 1994. Nowadays the society is visited by people with different objectives: children, youth and adults, as well as elderly people. Each generation are offered activities appropriate to one’s goals. The society offers concerts, seminars and presentations on different topics, informative events, children schools with different topics during the school holidays, creative workshops, events, competitions, contests, quizzes, local and international youth projects, different trainings, language discussion clubs, European Voluntary Service (as sending and hosting organization), work places in cooperation with State Employment Service. All the organized activities are focused on the promotion of intercultural dialogue. The authority of the society put many efforts in youth work, so informative events often take place at the organization. The society is inviting representatives of educational institutions, doing presentations about possibilities of European Voluntary Service and arranging excursions to possible work places. The society offers youth schools with different topics, often related to creativity or education, arranging craft and painting schools, design and theatre workshops as well as various other activities that help the participants to develop their skills, show their creativity and motivate them to use their skills to create something new. For young people are offered different youth local and international projects, where young people can gain new skills and abilities, as well as learn new cultures and traditions of other nationalities and countries, competitions, quizzes, contests, local events which are organized by the society, city council, state. Furthermore, the society focuses on the educational sector by arrangement of different job trainings, workshops concerning project management and youth schools. The aim is to give to young people the possibility to contribute their skills to the society and get involved in youth work. Through the last years organization has been coordinating several educational, cultural, integration projects for young people of Latvia. “ERFOLG” helps young people to become creative and active and get further into the voluntary work and widen their chances for the best future. The organization wants to provide an informal setting, where the participants feel free and respected and are able to figure out the exact way of their activity. The organization wants to develop the participant’s social skills and their interest in civic activism, in their possibility to contribute to their own future as to the future of Europe and the world. In the society was established the educational centre “ERFOLG” in 2009. It offers language courses and different educational programs, as well as a broad spectrum of other activities for every interested person: children, young people and adults.
