lil* Zentrum für Sexuelle Bildung und Gesundheitsförderung (sex education, health promotion)

We are an independent non-profit association, founded in 2011 and based in Austria / Graz. Our team consists of six sexual educators with differing educational backgrounds (social pedagogy, counseling, supervision, psychotherapy, social work, gender studies, adult education), and each of us also has been through a sexual educator course. We offer education, counseling, trainings and courses as well as supervision. We provide contemporary, sensitive, unexcited and comprehensive sexual education. We create places in which people can find out about stereotypes, myths and the fine but very important differences between consensuality and (beginning) forms of violence. We achieve sustainable solidarity through our appreciative and resource strengthening attitude. Therefore we attach great importance to sexual human rights as a base of our work, high professionalism in our educational work and the fact of visible and invisible diversity lines, which divide us and make us special at the same time. We work in a practical and life-world-oriented manner, building bridges from various fields of work in the social sector to sexual education and remaining in dialogue. In Austria we play an important role in the open and neutral communication of sexual education. Communicating the goals and content of “Comprehensive Sexual Education” is of large concern to us. In our educational work, we have frequent interaction with target groups such as pupils, students of social work, pedagogy, student teachers and similar subjects. In our trainings and courses we interact intensively with caregivers, parents, teachers and social workers of child and youth services on a high self reflective level. In our social media work we reach young people and adults in Austria and the entire German-speaking region through our presence on Instagram and TikTok. Our strengths lie in our ability to work in a team, our creativity, our trust in this important content and in each other. We constantly live these aspects in our innovative company with flat and transparent hierarchies.
