Youth Empowerment Scheme/Peace Project

A Youth & Community organisation which was set up by young people who were Princes Trust Millennium Ambassadors back in 1999 to create a drop in service for young people. Now we focus on all youth and community related projects from youth development, peer education work, training and development, health and sports, interfaith and community development work. We work closely with schools, youth services and housing associations to support young people work. We have in the past done lots of international exchanges, projects and partnership work and we would like to use our expertise, talent amongst our staff, volunteers and associates to support others in empowering young people within their communities. We have worked with many leading international bodies such as British Council, Abrahams Path, Encompass Trust, Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council and Saint Ethelburgas Peace and Reconciliation centre just to name a few. Our peaceproject won a beacon award from the Muslim Council of Britain for youth involvement and our PACE youth work model is a recognised intro to youth work training and peer education tool for young people who want to get into youth work.
