Teixint Vincles

We have pledged to create participative and dynamic open spaces with a pedagogic scope, where both individuals and groups can develop and become stronger through the exchange of knowledge and experience. Our endeavour is to generate awareness of our own abilities and responsibilities in order to build an egalitarian, diverse and fair society. To do so, we provide the tools in order to improve our skills in managing conflicts, as well as restoring leadership, encouraging dialogue and cooperation, and foster team work. The association aims for the following: To promote geographic mobility (for youth, students and workers), especially groups with fewer opportunities. To advocate civic engagement and a participative democracy. To ensure the delivery of services for youth. To promote interculturalism in order to achieve a cohesive coexistence, and equal rights and opportunities.. To disseminate and improve the projects for social cooperation and voluntary work. The principles and values that regulate our association: gender equality, solidarity, social justice, and peacebuilding. In order to deliver our objectives, in Teixint Vincles we participate and work in volunteering projects and youth mobility, and we offer training and workshops based on non-formal education and participative methodology. We consider collaboration with other entities and associations a key element to our work, and also essential to strengthen the impact of what we do as well as being mutually rewarding. Our association develops its projects in accordance with its strategies in interculturalism, gender, environment, cooperation, and civic participation. Our association has been involved and has developed different activities that deliver the experience required to carry out the mobility project of youth in Europe: Project My First Experience+, 2018, aimed for youth in risk of social exclusion. It promotes active participation in the planning of juvenile exchange, and it is tailored according to the needs of each group. Participative workshops, conferences and seminars in promotion of civic participation and democratic culture. Creation of spaces to promote participative dialogues and share mutual knowledge within a culturally diverse context. Meetings dedicated to share effective practices in the volunteering experience. Taking action to bring awareness about the stereotypical and prejudicial thoughts that negatively impact social relationships, social integration and civic cohesion. With the vast experience of our members we have developed an effective and engaging methodology that empowers the civic role in all the activities we oversee, and it also creates transformative and lasting changes in the territories.
