Tepebaşı Guidance and Research Center

Our institution has two department. One of the departments, named spetial education department, give services to people with disabilities. İn this department we deliver tests and instruments that are used for measuring academic and social skills, mental performance and executive functioning of people at the age of 0 to 99. We decide at wich level of disability they are, what kind of academic accommodations they need etc. depending on our observation we place them into a mainstream classroom with spetial accommodations or a spetial school designed for students with disabilities. They can also attend to supporting courses offered by private rehabilitation institutions without paying if they have a document prepared by our institution. İn the other department, named guidance and psychological counseling, we offer counseling related with educational, career, psychosocial and developmental issues to school aged children and their families in our region. we also organize seminars, educations, carry out projects in collaboration with school counselors working at the schools located in our region.
