AHORA ONG

AHORA ONG is a non-profit organization, born in 2022 with the aim of promoting quality education, social inclusion, labour inclusion, and health for all people. To this end, a team of professionals in the health and social intervention fields works daily to promote education, solidarity, collaboration and inclusion of all people, especially the most disadvantaged groups. Teaching and continuous learning are two of the elements that guide our organization to improve life’s quality of people in situations of special vulnerability. The main target groups of our organization are young people (12-30 years old) , migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, women in vulnerable situations, people with disabilities, unemployed elderly people, professionals in the educational and health fields, and family members of students at risk of social exclusion. Since its creation, AHORA ONG has worked especially with young migrants and young people from diverse cultural backgrounds, in order to promote their social inclusion and employability in the region of Madrid (Spain). As expert in the field of non-formal education, AHORA ONG has designed and implemented different innovative methodologies to promote social inclusion and employment of the young beneficiaries of our projects, becoming the main agents of change. All the techniques and tools designed for young people, have counted with the participation of this target group, to meet the real needs of the youth, promote their empowerment and skills development. AHORA ONG also provides training for professionals working with young people. The objective is to train professionalsin the use of innovative methodologies and techniques to ensure the social and labor inclusion of young people who are in a situation of special vulnerability. Our wide networks in the south and center of Madrid Region, ensures that the resources, tools and educational resources, not only reach young people, but also youth workers, thus generating a multiplier effect of our interventions. Finally, AHORA ONG is committed to the use of Information and Communication Technologies as one of the most effective mechanisms to promote the social and labor inclusion of youth. Our organization bets on hybrid intervention formats: alternating face-to-face and telematic interventions. Many of our interventions regarding labour orientation and education for employment can be carried out by young people from their own home, which increases the attractiveness of the inclusion projects that our organization executes in Madrid Region.
