Saulkrastu Uznemeju biedriba

NGO “Saulkrastu Uznemeju Biedriba” is a non-governmental organization (hereinafter also “SUB”) which organizes and implements various activities towards SUB is engaged in various activities related to business in the Saulkrasti district and beyond. The main long term goals of SUB are: 1. To promote socio-economic activity in society and the development of business and environment in Saulkrasti district; 2. Organization of public educational events to promote the formation of a civil society (diverse age groups); 3. To promote respect for the interests of entrepreneurs and residents of Saulkrasti region in state and local government institutions; 4. Promote the organization of large-scale cultural and sports events, the financial support of cultural and sports teams to achieve their goals; 5. Promote the arrangement of the degraded environment and the arrangement of the issue of environmental accessibility; 6. Organization of charity events, fundraising for public purposes. The main short term goals of the SUB are the following: 1. To encourage and educate young people in the field of entrepreneurship. 2. Expand the scope of the association's activities and initiate international cooperation in order to broaden the horizons of business topics and diversify them (different cultures, traditions, experiences, knowledge and skills). The most significant work done: we organize businessmen's meetings and networking; in cooperation with the municipality we worked on amendments to the county development plan, the development of various business-related municipal regulations, including the determination of trade prices, the transfer of rental plots to auctions; we achieved more favorable municipal regulations for entrepreneurs during Covid-19. We advertised the companies of Saulkrasti region, as well as achieved the creation of a modern and powerful advertising film for the municipality; organized an architect's plenary, businessmen's balls, annually organize the "Saulkrasti region's commercial property open day" and the orientation event "Getting to know the entrepreneur of Saulkrasti region". We have organized 6 stages in the project "Enjoy the sunset at any time of the year", within the framework of which approximately 60 beach dune benches have been installed. Every year, we organize a population survey to find out the most important opinion about business and to find out the best companies of Saulkrasti region in different categories. Several times our businessmen went to the high school of Saulkrasti district to inform the students about current business affairs in the charity campaign "Latvijas simtgades skvers" we installed and improved the square for the big flagpole in the campaign "I love Saulkrasti" we supported the film competition. We have co-organized and financially supported the "Saulkrasti cocktail" sports competition, as well as the charity campaign "Be Visible", within the framework of which we donated reflectors to all regional educational institutions (students and employees) and municipal institutions. We achieved the "entry" of new services in Saulkrasti, for example the operation of parcels. We promoted a business idea competition in the municipality. At Christmas, we treated those gathered at municipal events with sweets. We encouraged and got the municipality to build parking spaces on Ainažu Street, a children's playground and a pump track! we organized (2023) the charity campaign "Saulkrasti District for Ukraine", within the framework of which we sent a 4x4 jeep, generators and various other necessary goods to Ukraine. We are open for a wide range of cooperations and networking either in relation to our main topic (society education, entrepreneurship knowledge, skills) or any other related to our activities.
