YOUthNited

YOUthNited is an association born in 2023 in Heraklion ,Greece. The main objective of this group of young people is the promotion of volunteering experiences and non-formal education activities in the framework of the Erasmus+ program, providing opportunities for young Greek to travel abroad and live intercultural experiences, as well as for young Europeans to get to know Crete, its society and its culture. YOUthNited was founded by former Erasmus+ project participants who met and forged a friendly relationship during their studies in Heraklion and who, after detecting that they were also united by a desire to revalue volunteering experiences in Crete, decided to take a step forward and formalize the creation of a group of young people. The main topics on which the group focuses are social inclusion, youth empowerment, the promotion of an ecologically and socially sustainable lifestyle, and the defense of European values.
