ÖFBV - Österreichischer Floorball Verband

Austrian Floorball Federation (ÖFBV) The Austrian Floorball Federation (ÖFBV) is the national governing body for floorball in Austria, officially recognized by Sport Austria and the International Floorball Federation (IFF). Founded in 1996, the ÖFBV is responsible for developing, organizing, and promoting floorball at all levels – from grassroots to elite sport. We coordinate national leagues, manage the Austrian national teams (men, women, and youth categories), and support the growth of floorball across all nine federal states. The ÖFBV is committed to education, youth development, gender equality, and international cooperation in sport. We run training programs for coaches, referees, and volunteers and work closely with clubs, schools, and universities to integrate floorball into educational structures and extracurricular sports. The ÖFBV has extensive experience in Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) projects, including hosting international coaching exchanges, job shadowing, and study visits. Through Erasmus+ we aim to strengthen the competencies of coaches, educators, and sport managers, as well as to foster cross-border collaboration and intercultural learning. Our federation is based in Linz and operates with a small but dedicated team of staff and volunteers. We are open to strategic partnerships with clubs, NGOs, schools, and federations across Europe to promote floorball and educational mobility.
