Via Civic Association

Via Civic Association was established in 2009 by a group of young people united for important causes, concerning the life and the perspective of the Bulgarian youths. The main goal is to provide a support for personal and professional development of the young people in order to activate their inclusion in the social, economical and cultural life of our country and in the international field. The association participates in national and international projects and networks, develops specialized educational and training programs with inovative design, provides trainings in the field of human rights, active youth participation, social inclusion, youth employability, (social) entrepreneurship, democratic citizenship, promoting volunteering, multicultural dialogue, informational, media and digital literacy and etc. The activities of the association are addressed to the young people of different professional, social and ethnic groups – school students, University students, post graduated, youths from rural areas and young people with visual disabilities. We work with 25 volunteer according to the topic of the project. We have large experience in working on projects and disposes of resources for action in the social field and the field of social entrepreneurship and informational, media and digital literacy. Via Civic develops and implement its own international projects under Youth in Action and now Erasmus+/Youth program. The priority in our project work is to provide training courses in order to increase the level of competences among the youth workers and to support the development of the organizational capacity. In our portfolio we have& - TC “I’ve Got The Power To Be Entrepreneur!” (2013) tackling the problem of youth unemployment. We trained the youth leaders how to raise the entrepreneurial spirit of the youths, how to motivate them to express themselves in the professional field. - TC "2 PLUS 2 possibilities become 5 realities" (2014) for youth workers and leaders to raise their expertise in finding solutions of the problems with youth unemployment= - TC “Coaching to unleash potential” (2016) with the aim to provide knowledge and skills how to use coaching methods in the youth work in order to be more effective with the people with different profiles. - TC SELF (Social Entrepreneurship as Local Force, 2017) with the goal to enhance the capacity of the youth workers in the field of social entrepreneurship and to promote it as alternative option for youth employability and financial stability of the civil organizations. - TC "DIG Your Story! Storytelling as a Powerful Tool in the Youth Work Context" (2018) with the aim to Increase the quality and effectiveness of youth work by improving the skills of youth workers in the implementation of digital storytelling in their daily work with young people with a different profile. - TC "Storify Yourself! Youth Work as a Brand" (2019) was a training program with inovative design based on experiential learning, coaching, storytelling with the aim to Increase the quality and effectiveness of youth work by improving the skills of youth workers in the implementation of an innovative complex of instruments for personal development in their work with young people with different profiles. We also develop and implement national projects in the field of entrepreneurship, youth initiative and volunteering, media literacy ant etc.
