Kuruluş Hakkında
aha Youth Information Vorarlberg is the youth information centre of the federal state of Vorarlberg in western Austria. Our organisation provides information, counselling and support services for young people and contributes to the development of youth work structures across the region. We work closely with municipalities, youth centres, schools and youth organisations and support young people in accessing opportunities related to education, participation, mobility and personal development. An important part of our work is the facilitation of international youth mobility. Within the framework of Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps, we support youth centres, youth workers and young people in Vorarlberg in planning and implementing international projects. Our organisation holds an Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation, which allows us to support and coordinate different types of mobility activities on a regular basis. In many cases we act as a coordinating and supporting organisation for local youth centres and youth work structures that wish to engage in international cooperation. The projects we support are usually based in the field of open youth work and and focus on non-formal learning, intercultural exchange and youth participation. Through these activities we aim to create opportunities for young people to gain international experience, develop new perspectives and engage with peers from other countries. What We Are Looking For in Partners We are interested in cooperating with organisations that work in the field of youth work and are motivated to organise meaningful international youth activities. We particularly value partners who: have experience working with young people in youth work or non-formal learning contexts are interested in developing balanced and cooperative partnerships can support the local organisation and implementation of youth exchanges value intercultural learning and youth participation For many of the youth centres we support, international projects represent a first or early experience with international cooperation. Therefore it is important for us to work with partners who are open to collaboration, communication and realistic planning processes. We are generally interested in long-term cooperation and stable partnerships, rather than one-off activities. Previous International Experience aha - Youth Information Vorarlberg has been involved in European youth mobility programmes for three decades.
