YAŞAD Yaşam Alanlarını Koruma ve Yaşatma Derneği/ Association for the Protection and Survival of Habitats

YAŞAD was established in order for making contribution for the continuation and the protection of the progeny of animals and other living species under the threat of extinction in nature and for promoting environmental protection and sustainable development. During the recent years, we has also been committed to help children, young people, older people, women and people with disabilities who live under conditions of deprivation. Through our projects and partnerships with public institutions, local and international NGOs we attempt to improve the social conditions of people in need. In accordance with this purpose, we are carrying our project ,"Love Power of Nature" which is Erasmus + KA204 project, in attempt to rehabilitate people with disabilities through the power of nature. One of the most important objectives of YAŞAD in this project is to enhance the rehabilitation model in nature, creating environment where people with disabilities might effectively communicate with the nature and gain self-confidence in nature. Furthermore, we organized both four youth initiative projects encompassing such project themes as nature, environment and the reintegration of the disadvantaged groups into society and three GEF-SGP UNDP projects, four South Marmara Development Agency (SMDA) projects.
