Kuruluş Hakkında
GEGET (Youth, Future and Society Association) is an independent, non-profit youth organisation based in Ankara, Türkiye. We work to empower young people, strengthen their participation in decision-making processes, and contribute to more inclusive, sustainable, and youth-friendly societies. Our philosophy is simple: Not for young people, but together with young people. We see young people not merely as beneficiaries of projects, but as active partners, decision-makers, designers, and agents of social change. We involve them in identifying needs, developing solutions, shaping policies, implementing activities, and evaluating outcomes. OUR MAIN AREAS OF WORK • Youth Policy and Advocacy: Promoting evidence-based youth policies and strengthening young people's voices in local and national decision-making. • Youth Participation and Youth-Friendly Cities: Developing participatory approaches that enable young people to influence local governance and community life. • Youth Empowerment and Well-being: Supporting young people's personal, social, civic, and professional development through non-formal education and capacity-building activities. • Digital Literacy and Innovation: Promoting digital competencies, media literacy, responsible technology use, productivity, and awareness of emerging technologies. • Research and Capacity Building: Conducting youth-oriented research, developing policy recommendations, and strengthening organisational capacities. • International Cooperation: Building partnerships between youth organisations, civil society, public institutions, and international stakeholders. WHAT WE BRING TO INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS We are interested in Erasmus+ projects, youth exchanges, training courses, capacity-building activities, research initiatives, and long-term international cooperation. We can contribute through our experience in youth participation, policy development, research, non-formal education, digital literacy, youth simulations, local stakeholder engagement, and project development. We value partnerships based on mutual learning, inclusion, transparency, active participation, and sustainable impact. As a member of international youth networks, including DYPALL Network and Corpsloop, we are eager to connect with organisations that share our vision and develop meaningful projects together. Our vision is a society in which young people do not simply prepare for the future, but actively shape it today. GEGET – Not for young people, but together with young people.
