R.O.A.D. Academy and Training Centre

Founded in 2010, R.O.A.D. has rapidly developed its business model to combine its entertainment division, with a dynamic third sector enterprise to provide innovative services in Education and Training through the R.O.A.D. Academy and Training Centre. As a Social Enterprise and Charity we have managed ESF bids and are SFA registered, with QCF accreditation for the provision of creative educational workshops/programmes ranging from one day to twenty-six weeks providing formal and vocational qualifications in; Music Industry & Production, Videography / Photography, Digital Arts / ICT and Performing Arts through the SupaKids Drama School with the encouragement to pursue them in further educations and/or employment. Our primary service users are 8–15 and 16–24 year old NEET's (not in education, employment or training), Gang members and/or Ex-Offenders, Children In Care, the BAME community (specifically BAME Women) and the most at-risk individuals from the most challenging environments. All R.O.A.D. services are provided in an interactive setting using industry-approved technology plus unique module guides to skills-match qualifications with wider/alternative forms of employment linking service outcomes and objectives to meet the eligibility criteria of new and existing apprenticeships/internships schemes. R.O.A.D. Group seek to form stronger partnerships to improve strategic framework plans to boost community engagement and bring individuals closer to the labour market.
