Champions Factory TR

Champions Factory TR is an informal group of young people, created in February 2015 in Mersin, Turkey. The team involves 5 members, aged between 18 – 30, has bachelor degrees in Psychology, International Relations and IT. All of the group members have attended many ERASMUS+ events since middle 2014. The idea to create the informal group came out when we found out that Champions Factory International (with headquarters in Bulgaria and branches in Dublin and London) implemented projects developing youth employment and entrepreneurship through sport and creativity sessions. We decided that we would like to work with them and to acquire new knowledge and provide young people in Turkey with the opportunity to develop their skills, attitudes and knowledge through interactive events. That is how we ed Champions Factory in Bulgaria and we decided to create a branch in Turkey. Champions Factory International is the main supporters for us and development advisors. "Inspire through creativity and sport" is dedicated to the development of young people in our community through: 1. Promotion of sport as a matter of a healthy lifestyle. 2. Developing soft skills in young people through creativity and art sessions. 3. Promote social inclusion of minorities and support disadvantaged groups: people with disabilities, people discriminated against for their ethnic origin, religion or other reasons. 4. Develop youth employment and entrepreneurship skills in young people. 5. Provide opportunities for youth from Turkey to participate in international training courses, youth exchanges. Champions Factory TR also has organized the number of social activities in different cities of Turkey/ Our members are graduates from Psychology, International Relations at Cag University, and an IT Specialist in Turkey. Our member's different backgrounds contributed to the diverse scope of qualifications we possess and therefore, the multiform of work we can perform as a team. The rallying point is that we all find creativity and the values that sport gives youth as important aspects when young people are searching for employment. Our group members have experience in business administration, volunteering in diverse social activities in Turkey and Europe, project management, giving art and soft skill classes and sports classes. Champions Factory TR cooperates with other European Youth groups and NGOs and international organizations in hosting and helping others host youth activities in a number of countries, promote cultural diversity and contribute to the positive social changes in the European continent. Currently, we are taking part in helping organize Erasmus+ projects for youth to be hosted in Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Spain with a variety of topics of our interest, such as Bullying, social entrepreneurship, intercultural learning, gender-based discrimination, sexual freedom, healthy lifestyle, social inclusion, wellbeing, work and organizational psychology and environmental psychology. We are also informing the local communities about the benefits of such projects and the seriousness of the issues being brought to light. Besides organizing youth exchanges and training courses, our team is also involved in educational activities for youngsters, cultural events. Our team has access to trainers network from all around Europe who is expert in the field of youth on Non-formal Education.
