PATER (Territorial Employment Pact in the Ribera County)

PATER (Territorial Employment Pact in La Ribera) is an autonomous organization with a local character created on 26 July 2004 within La Ribera Consortium. PATER has its own legal personality, as well as administrative and economic autonomy.PATER main aims are: Development of the Territorial Employment Pact in La Ribera and the design and promotion of actions with the purpose of job creation, socio-labour insertion and the economic development of La Ribera. Also, to take interest and participate in infrastructure policies and land management, as well as in agricultural, commercial and industrial policies. Since 2004 PATER has developed projects for training, job counseling, couple counseling seeking employment and enterprise creation, business consultancy, promotion of business incubators and creation of business clusters, aimed at disadvantaged groups: youth, women, over 45, disabled and unemployed, in order to improve their skills to achieve social and labor inclusion. PATER has a Plan for equal opportunities for men and women. has received the award for the best feature of the Valencian community advisory business creation, has the quality certification ISO 9001:2008, in performing procedures caring for people with difficulties in finding work, training and enterprise creation. PATER works as MACRO Local Development Agency that brings together, manages and coordinates the Local Development and Employment Agents Network of the County of La Ribera (34 local agencies). PATER has a PAE (business point of advice,) through an agreement with the Ministry of Industry Spain.The aim of PATER is to reach a permanent economic development in La Ribera capable of generating a constant growth from the effort of the productive endogenous resources, from the creation and business consolidation and from the regularization of the labour market, favoring the insertion of all the people willing to gain access to a job in conditions of equality. The main engine for this development to be constantly autonomous is to create a productive regional network by the development of a system of companies that make the most of the region´s potentials. PATER has participated in many European projects: EQUAL,Bulgarian EQUAL, PROGRESS, Grundtvig, MED, Erasmus young entrepreneurs, Erasmus+, Europe for Citizens. It has a network of social and business partners and with the support of regional government for the conduct of proceedings.
