The association "Cubo d'Ideias - Associação Criativa" was formed with the main objective of providing the community, especially young people, with a new perspective of citizenship that is not only exhausted locally but always with a view to enlargement to regional dimensions, nationals and internationals. To achieve this and other specific objectives, the association intends to stimulate continuous actions on diverse topics that can contribute to an increase in the offer of opportunities to young people so that they can be better qualified in the future and understand society more comprehensively. In order to achieve this objective, we intend to form partnerships with a national and to carry out projects where young people have the opportunity to become more active citizens, to better understand the European reality and to internalize the importance of tolerance and respect for differences between cultures. It is important for us to integrate across the board the principles of networking and partnerships between organizations, promoting the creation and strengthening of social capital and promoting joint actions and projects through the organization of meetings, meetings, conferences and seminars. We also aim to provide the young community with the opportunity to participate in active citizenship actions and cultural events, as well as participation in national and international projects for their personal and social enrichment through the promotion of training and exchanges with national and international bodies where respect for democratic values ​​and intercultural dialogue is always present. We are an association that is part of the European Union, so we have as guidelines the European guidelines for sustainable development, interculturality and pluralism, based on ethical values ​​and respect for diversity, not forgetting citizenship and European awareness. In our business plan, we want to include activities that develop in young people this awareness of the European dimension and democratic and ethical values ​​that are in line with EU guidelines. One of the relevant strands in our work is the intergenerational relationship as we consider that there are many benefits for all if communication channels are created between the younger and the older generations as actions in informal and non-formal contexts enhance learning and knowledge. Finally, the cultural dimension and dialogue between cultures in order to create more tolerant consciences and where dialogue based on ethical values ​​is equally important in the general scope of the association.
