Creatorium

Creatorium is an idealist organisation, and it's serving main purpose is to offer a platform for international project activities on the behalf of the interests and ambitions of its members and regional partners. Administering a Training Centre/ Project basecamp at Vindfjelltunet Gjestegaard, with a associated youth hostel and coworking space, It is focused on the communities of Lardal and Siljan, and the region Vestfold-Telemark at large. At any given time, we need up to 8 ESC Volunteers, via ESC-coordinators outside Norway, as Norway is not directly part of ESC until 2022. The organisation aims to implement projects locally and internationally within the frames of the Erasmus Plus Programme, the Nordic Council, EEA and other similar ordinances. The main profile is on fronting< Creative multitude, Non-formal methods, Community building, Nature Reconnection, Events, Gamification, experimental pedagogics, Current global issues, Special thematic focus on the self-development needs and the creative expression of its beneficiaries, including various rural marginalised groups of youth. We've had increased activity this year on mental health themes, storytelling, sensory theatre and experiences, VR, moving in the direction of more KA2 capacities. Our strategic focus for encompasses the creative disciplines of music, dance, theatre, crafts and arts, entrepreneurship, creative expression, youth unemployment, and environmental challenges. The organisation is based on years of experience in Erasmus Plus and similar ordinances, held by its members, and the late 2019 formation of Creatorium is a formalisation of a former informal group with connections spanning a decade. We mentor and write our own original projects, have received several grants and implemented also before the onset of Covid-19, despite our short existence. Since the end of the pandemic we've already sent 185 participants abroad and hosted/organised four successful exchanges.
