EMiT Feltrinelli

EMiT Feltrinelli, is a non-profit foundation under private law active in the city of Milan since 1908 for the training of people in the company and in private professional life. We are committed to guarantee the updating of skills of young people with the aim of creating employment opportunities and collaborating with companies for the development of training projects, in order to enhance skills needed to compete in the labour market. The training courses have both technical and management focuses, with a strong specialization in the field of information technology, web technologies, languages, marketing and management, metrology, creative techniques. Areas of Expertise EMiT Feltrinelli has been a leading player in training and innovation for businesses and citizens for several decades, being a training centre accredited by the Lombardy Region. EMiT Feltrinelli works in close relationship with the territory, citizens and companies to satisfy everyone the needs that emerge with respect to: - training for access to citizenship rights; - training courses for young people and the unemployed aimed at training professional figures required by the labor market; - training and professional updating of company employees; - services for activate internships also for non-EU citizen; - training courses in IT and web, safety, metrology, marketing and management, creative techniques and education on the environment; - Consulting for financing and designing training; - Selection and training of digital professionals; - Apprenticeships, orientation and job placement; Within All proceeds from the foundation are used to promote projects for the development of human capacity for business competition, social inclusion and active citizenship. Results achieved in the past years - Provided about 2,500 internships for unemployed young people, of which about 1,500 were aimed at recruitment; - 660 traineeships for foreign citizens, of which about 120 were aimed at recruitment and regularization; - Over 15,000 workers trained in continuous training; - Trained more than 9,000 private individuals and professionals in continuous training; - Trained over 1,300 young people in Higher Education courses aimed at employment; - Provided training and consulting services to about 650 companies; - Conducted more than 50 career guidance events at Lombardy high schools; EMiT Feltrinelli's training is mainly in the digital and technical fields. The main financial backers are national (interprofessional funds) and local (Municipality of Milan and Lombardy Region).
