Modern Public Union

Modern Youth Public Union (MYPU) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in May 2008 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and functioning on local, national and international levels. Although the main target of our organization is young people over the age of 18, it also includes adolescents over the age of 13.​ Our mission is to help young people increase their knowledge, skills, and active participation in society. We create opportunities for youth through local and international projects.​ We focused on the topics of human rights, personal development, intercultural interreligious dialogue, inclusion of minorities and refugees (IDP), tolerance and diversity, social inclusion, environment, health, sport, youth unemployment, sport, preservation of the cultural heritage, youth entrepreneurship, voluntary movement, digital skills and music and we work on the development of young people which they are facing educational difficulties, health problems, cultural differences and social, economic, geographical obstacles. Concerning our Erasmus+ achievements during the past 14 years, we have participated in more than 200 projects, and have sent more than 700 young people from Azerbaijan to join youth projects.
