ESTIA - SUPPORT & SOCIAL CARE CENTRE FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY

ESTIA – Support and Social Care Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities, is a recognized Charity Association under the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Founded in 1982, ESTIA supports people with intellectual disabilities (PWID) from age 15, aiming to improve their life quality and community inclusion. Certified as a vocational training center since 1998 and ISO 9001:2015 compliant, our key activities include vocational training, support services, social skills training, creative learning, sports programs, early intervention, and trainer education. ESTIA operates four Supported Living Houses and serves 75 users daily with a staff of 50 professionals, including disability educators, therapists, teachers, psychologists, and social workers. ESTIA has implemented national and European educational projects, such as STELLA and Inclusive Digital Academy, Inclu-Ageing, GINA, PRIME and other Erasmus+ projects and is member of E.A.S.P.D. and CARAVAN 2000 International.
