Adult and Youth Education (AYE) Foundation

Adult and Youth Education Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization created in August 2024 in Lubin, Poland. Foundation members are a group of ambitious, hard-working and responsible people who want to have a positive impact on the surrounding reality. We see a lot of threats in the modern world, a lot of behavior on the part of politicians, the public or the media we don’t like, and we pledge to contribute to visible change. AYE Foundation was established to work for the comprehensive education of target groups and against discrimination based on gender, social status or ethnicity. We want to foster good social attitudes of current and future leaders, increase citizen participation in public life, build partnerships locally as well as internationally, and promote human rights, traditions, and Polish as well as European heritage. How? Through activities, i.e. information campaigns, non-formal education and social projects. The values of the AYE Foundation are: independence, trust, proficiency, consistency, integrity and responsibility. Although the Foundation is young in terms of seniority, its members have a wealth of experience working in NGOs. We have participated in dozens of developing projects in Europe and partner countries, conducted numerous international workshops, meetings, lectures, information and social campaigns. Now it’s time to start working on our own brand under the banner of AYE Foundation. Although we’re certain our team has a huge scope of skills, we want to focus on the areas of: Women: AYE Foundation focuses on helping women in need, strengthening their boundaries, countering violence, and educating about women’s rights. Through social campaigns, we want to show that every person is important, promote good practices in this area, and effectively work against labor inequality Men: AYE Foundation through its social campaigns and activities, wants to pay special attention to men’s rights neglected by the Polish state. There’s no space for the needs of modern Poles, men’s emotions are suppressed, and unfortunately they have to deal with problems on their own, as evidenced by frightening statistics on self-ha*m or the state of mental health of Poles. We want to support men, promote positive social attitudes, help them better understand and discover themselves, and effectively influence their better well-being. The Youth: Workshops, training courses, career counseling, volunteering, promotion of democratic citizenship, conferences or informational meetings – these are just examples of activities that AYE Foundation implements to positively influence today’s youth. Through non-formal education, creating opportunities for overseas educational trips and organizing social projects, we want to instill in young people the values that are important to us, i.e. self-confidence, independence, responsibility and consistent pursuit of goals. Media: An important aspect of the AYE Foundation’s work is to raise the public’s awareness of what the functions of the media are, to counter manipulation, and to restore the public’s faith and trust in journalists. Through our activities we want to show both the positive and negative sides of the media industry, fight stereotypes, highlight good practices, as well as condemn the bad ones. We firmly believe that our actions will have an impact on our target groups. We want to empower them, focus on their mental health, opportunities, and help them believe in themselves and give them meaning.
