Diyarbakır Business Women Association (DİKAD) is a comprehensive non-governmental and non-profit organisation that aims to contribute to social transformation by supporting women and youth entrepreneurship. Our mission is to strengthen the presence of women in the business world, unlock the entrepreneurial potential of young people, and fight against gender inequality in all areas of society. The association focuses on key issues such as gender equality, domestic violence, education, and employment. Through training activities including courses, seminars, panels, and workshops, DİKAD helps its members enhance their knowledge and skills. In addition, the organisation provides guidance and mentoring services to young people entering the business world, helping them gain confidence and build entrepreneurial mindsets. Environmental awareness and sustainable practices are also among our priorities. We aim to spread eco-friendly approaches, develop projects on environmental protection, and encourage social responsibility. On both national and international levels, DİKAD implements projects that enhance the capacities of women and young entrepreneurs, helping them bring business ideas to life and connect with global networks. We also organise leadership programmes and events to empower women leaders and support them in taking active roles in society. DİKAD raises awareness on human rights, child rights, and social justice by conducting campaigns, thus contributing to the development of positive social consciousness. Furthermore, the association gives importance to the inclusion of individuals with special needs by supporting their development in fields such as music, art, and sports. In this way, we strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone can showcase their talents and potential.. Through these efforts, DİKAD contributes to building a fairer and more inclusive society, strengthening social solidarity, and leading social transformation.
