Fundación Save the Children

The Foundation's objective is to promote respect for and the implementation of the human rights of children and adolescents, as established by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child dated November 20, 1989, through the following actions: 1)Promote, through participation, the capacity of children and adolescents to defend and claim respect for their rights. 2)Prevent and alleviate situations of poverty and material deprivation among children and adolescents to ensure their full development. 3)Promote the health and overall well-being of children and adolescents and protect their lives. 4)Protect the physical, psychological, and sexual integrity of children and adolescents, as well as their rights to recovery from abuse. 5)Defend the right to access quality education and equal opportunities. 6)Contribute to the knowledge and awareness of the human rights of children and adolescents.
