GFPS-Polska

GFPS-Polska is part of a family of student non-profit organisations, operating since 1984 in Germany (GFPS e. V.), since 1994 in Poland (GFPS-Polska), and since 1999 in Czechia (GFPS-CZ). Since its foundation, GFPS-Polska has awarded academic scholarships to students from Poland, Germany, Belarus, and Ukraine. Over more than 30 years, over 800 people have benefited from the GFPS network's scholarship programmes. Twice a year, the organisation holds themed seminars – Dni Miast, taking place in various Polish or German cities, dedicated to local culture, history, and social issues, as well as Forum GFPS – a scientific and cultural event that brings together scholarship holders, alumni, and members, enabling the exchange of experiences, presentation of projects, and strengthening of cross-border cooperation. The organisation's mission is to support academic and cultural exchange between these countries and to promote mutual understanding through the organisation of scholarship trips, conferences, and youth exchange programmes.
