LES FRANCAS DE DORDOGNE… The Francas de Dordogne is an association of type “Law 1901”, which is active on the entire department. It is situated in the center of Périgueux, city of about 30.000 inhabitants and prefecture of the department of the Dordogne. The Dordogne is a rural department which has an important natural, historic, architectural and artistic heritage. EVS Project « Interculturalité aux Francas de Dordogne » … The association Francas de Dordogne welcomes a young person per year in European Voluntary Service since September, 2011. The main aim of the project is to favor the discoveries and the intercultural exchanges with the inhabitants of Dordogne by targeting more the children and the young people. Two axes are envisaged: - Help the Association of Francas in the development of projects and actions to promote Interculturalité and international mobility of young people. - Participate in the organization and in the animation of the educational activities and the leisure activities for the children / young people by including an intercultural aspect, in connection with the structures of leisure activities federated on the department. The project will begin in September, at the time of the start of the school year in France. It will last 12 months so that you can participate in the annual cycle of the activities of the association and develop a personal project if you wish.
