Association of International Volunteering from Moldova

Association of International Volunteering (AVI-Moldova) is an NGO, which has the aim to promote peace and tolerance between nations, to promote and develop concept of volunteering and voluntary service, intercultural exchanges, healthy way of living and human rights. AVI Moldova was created thanks to the initiative of Service Civil International and Milieukontakt Oost – Europa from Holland. AVI working group has started its activities from 2001 by organizing international workcamps. During three years it was functioning like a working group and in February 2004 was registered as an NGO. In autumn of 2003 AVI was recognized as a partner organization of SCI andafter that AVI got the status of SCI group. Permanent projects are: work camps, trainings; evaluation seminars; regular meetings, periodical publications (magazines, leaflets, posters) at national and also at international level.
