Civic Forum NGO

Aim The main aim of “Civic Forum” NGO is to strengthen a more sustainable civil society in Armenia based on the shared values of tolerance and equality, the rule of law, peace and democracy. Membership Civic Forum has membership structure which is regulated by its statute. To become a member one should fill in an application form and attend the events of the NGO and take active part in its work. Structure Civic Forum has a board which is being elected for two years term and has a secretariat which is running the executive office of the organization. Activities of your organization in addition to this form. Through different educational activities which are aimed at self and professional development of young people we try to provide space for youth in Armenia to continue developing outside of formal settings of state institutions (schools, universities, etc). We work mostly with non-formal education methods in indoor and outdoor settings. During our work the main focus is on building a responsible and active citizen which is ready to respond to the challenges of our society. We create bridges between different groups with their peers around Europe and in the rest of the world. We do our best to embrace the diversity in Armenia and elsewhere. All these is being done via dedicated young people and volunteers who share common values and passion of turning Armenia a better place for all the people living here. Main focus areas are but not limited: • Human Rights Education • Intercultural learning • Peace building • Youth Entrepreneurship • Equality • Digital citizenship • etc.
