European Center for Youth Initiatives

The European Center for Youth Initiatives is an entity created by group of young people, students and absolvents of International Relations and Journalism, actively working in the Youth sector. Main actions of people involved in the ECIM are focused on the development of young people by promoting openness and activity and use of existing, including those thanks to the European Union, opportunities and possibilities. The main objectives of the European Center of Youth Initiatives include: - Promoting openness and activity of young people; - Increasing opportunities for youth employment; - Increase awareness other cultures and knowledge about existing opportunities; - Promoting the idea of social entrepreneurship and sustainable development; - Taking initiatives for the development and diversification in the field of education; - Promoting and developing the idea of conscious European citizenship and European integration; - Stimulating creative thinking and development of ideas through dealing with challenges. Actions and initiatives undertaken by individual members of the ECIM consisted of: - Activating young people by creating and conducting scientific clubs; - Involvement in the preparation of training courses and conferences at universities such as University of Warsaw, Warsaw University of Technology and Warsaw School of Economics; - Involvement in the implementation of European youth projects as participants and leaders, as well as coordinators – all together 15 projects (Youth Exchanges and Training Courses in Poland, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Romania, Spain and Portugal); - Preparing brochures, articles, columns and photorelations in cooperation with the editorial and publishing houses; - Preparing workshop on the subject of social entrepreneurship, active citizenship, cultural integration, language learning and the development of international cooperation for young people; - Involvement in the activities of non-governmental organizations active in the promotion of culture, European integration, entrepreneurship and personal development of young people.
