EU Policies Institute

EU Policies Institute was founded to support local governments, public institutions, private and civil society organizations for developing national and international policies consistent with union acquis during the accession process of Turkey. Other aims of institute are listed below: -Perform Academic researchs in the field of European Union -Support NGOs to strengthen civil society dialogue. -Develope projects to increase the local potential of the town. -Provide opportunity for university students to gain experience. -Provide objective information to public opinion about EU Process. EU Policy Institute some experiences are listed below: -EU Basic Education and Capacity Building Program: Within the scope of projects carried out with the support of Heinrich Böll Stiftung, ten training programs and five meetings were organized for local administrators. -Human Rights Volunteers Project. -Solid Waste Management Centre Project -Energy Efficiency and Safety at Work Project Our principles are listed below: - EU Policies Institute, supports membership process of Turkey to European Union in the framework of offical negotiations within equal partnership. - EU Policies Institute, tries to contribute European Culture with taking inspiration from the cultural heritage of our country. - EU Policies Institute, supports efforts to achieve UN Millenium Development Goals with the responsibilty to the whole nations in the world. - EU Policies Institute, believes in universal values like freedom, equality, solidarity, tolerance, respect for nature and common responsibilities. - EU Policies Institute, defends transparent, accountable and participatory governance concept. European Union Policies Institute takes it's dynamic power from young volunteers studying in different universities all over the Turkey with a team spirit. EU Policies board of directors consists of five members and our project team consists of fifteen members who are studying in different universities all over in Turkey. Our target group consists of universities, municipalities, public institutions and youth groups.
